See Virginia’s Official Saltwater Fish

Congratulations to the Striped Bass! The species (also known as Rockfish) was recently designated as Virginia’s official saltwater fish by the Virginia House of Delegates. Come and see more than a dozen of them at the Maymont Nature Center  open Tuesday-Sunday from 10am to 5pm.

    Hello, Neat post. There’s a problem together with your website in internet explorer, might check this? IE nonetheless is the marketplace leader and a big portion of folks will omit your excellent writing because of this problem.

      Thanks Angelica! When you say there’s a problem with the website in IE, do you mean this blog site or the maymont website? Everything seems to be functioning normally in IE10 for both.
